Military service as shipcarpenter on HMS Falken, 1993-1994.The work consisted mainly on rigging, rig, and sail maintence. After that I spent two summers in Holland on several shortnotice jobs as first mate on Dutch charter ships during the summers 1996, and 1997. This was then followed by a transatlantic delivery sailing. Current (non-nautical) job is research engineer, and PhD student.

Total sailed distance is approximate some 14000 M, and total number of working days are 530. Above that I have sailed and crewed on pleasure yachts one or two weeks several summers. Vaartijdenboekje #39689.
Above the three above formal course, one of the main parts of the job as first mate on the charter ships above was sail instruction to the guests on the boat.

One of the founders of an outdoor student organisation at Linköping University (Vild!). For that orginasation I have organized several courses (leadership, and leadership in long distance skating), as well as organized numerous weekend walks and other activities such as kayaking etc.
